We get to work with great couples and families. it is one of the great things about my job.

Today Nancy and I celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. It has gone by so fast. I would do it all again in a heartbeat. She makes my life great.

Another cloudy day in NE Ohio. We are praying for good weather for some outdoor events we are shooting this weekend.

Another beautiful day in NE Ohio. Days like this do not come around very often.
The UPS man just rolled up with a bunch of new samples for our album Epoca line of albums. There is a large sample Las Vegas album with carrying case and about 8 10x10 sample covers. These things are just way too cool.
If you need wedding photography you need to see this line.

Wow! What a weekend. We traveled over 1100 miles in 3 days and managed to squeeze a day trip on an aircraft carrier in there too. What an awesome thing to see. 1100 feet long and fighter jets taking off and landing on the deck. The power and precision of an F18 taking off less than 50 feet from you is something you will never forget. Why any other country would want to mess with the United States is way beyond me. They must be crazy. I took a couple hundred photos of things on the ship and will be posting some of them to my Facebook page later today. (I do have some work to do) Nick's Senior Chief told me that he is doing very well in his current assignment. It is unusual for someone so junior in service length and rank to be given the responsibility the he has. I guess the Navy is agreeing with him.
We are still actively booking weddings for this year and next. This year is looking better than last year. We appreciate the confidence that the Brides and Grooms have in us to deliver beautiful photographs of their Wedding day. I am designing a new show booth and hope to have it ready by the September Today's Bride show.

Random thoughts...
A busy day here at the Studio. We have several appointments today. I am trying to get ready for our trip to Norfolk tomorrow. We are going to see Nick and take a ride on the carrier he is stationed on. A whirlwind weekend, but sure to be a lot of fun! Pictures to follow.
I hope LeBron's elbow is going to be OK. I hope this is not another case of the Cleveland sports curse. We are never going to have a better opportunity than this to win it all!!
The Album Epoca team has returned from Italy and we are looking forward to hearing about the exciting new products that we will be able to offer our clients this year. The Epoca albums are amazingly beautiful.
I had a 37 in my golf league yesterday. I didn't play very well, but I made some putts.
I have recently acquired a new Canon 50D camera. This one is rated at 15.1 megapixels. It is so fast and quiet. I shot almost 1100 photos at my last wedding. Great quality. Canon is the best in the business. That's why we use them.
